How Winter tyres (In Finnish talvirenkaat) differs from the summer tyres(In Finnish kesärenkaat)?

I suppose you are referring to motorcycle tyres. The diffrence is that winter tyres have studs

On advrider.com I've seen a guy using car winter rear tire for winter riding (with enough snow to get stuck by the bottom plate). He says that grip is surprisingly good. AFAIR for front he uses studded motorcycle tire, probably car-tire -studded at that. Could be interesting.
